This document outlines issues for the 6th IOPC Fund Intersessional Working Group which arise when P&I Clubs make interim payments to claimants as an alternative to establishing a limitation fund for distribution by the Court and identifies the practical measures commonly taken by Clubs to facilitate the prompt and fair settlement of claims.
