Interspill 2012 – Participation by representatives of Group Clubs

Representatives of Group Clubs participated in the recent Interspill 2012 Conference and Exhibition held at London’s Excel Arena on 13 – 15 March 2012. Jonathan Hare from Skuld joined speakers from the IOPC Funds and ITOPF at the Claims and Compensation Workshop, giving presentations on the Bunkers Convention, LLMC and the role of the P&I; Clubs. On the following day Tony Paulson from West of England presented a paper on the current challenges faced by the P&I; Clubs, including a discussion on Chinese pollution regulations, potential legislative changes as a result of the Deepwater Horizon event in the United States and the debate over raising limits of liability under the 1996 LLMC Protocol.

Announcing the International Group of P&I Clubs Fellowship in International Maritime Law 2021-2022

The International Group of P&I Clubs is delighted to announce the establishment of a fellowship for the academic year 2021-2022 for a student pursuing Master of Laws (LL.M.) studies in International Maritime Law at the IMO International Maritime Law Institute (IMLI) based in Malta.

Group activities - Current and future challenges

In this video, Chair Paul Jennings and Group CEO Nick Shaw briefly discuss the work that the International Group have been doing to ensure that there are sustainable high levels of P&I cover available to shipowners going forward and discuss future challenges for the Group.
