New International Group Chairman elected
At the Annual General Meeting of the International Group of P&I Clubs managers held in London on 10 November 2015, the managers of the 13 member Clubs unanimously endorsed and welcomed the election of Hugo Wynn-Williams, Chairman of Thomas Miller, to succeed Grantley Berkeley as Chairman of the International Group. Grantley Berkeley stood down at the meeting following completion of his three year term of office and was thanked by the Group managers for his contributions and service on behalf of the Group during his term as chairman.

Guidelines published for Marine Casualty Claims
The International Group’s Salvage Committee have drafted new Guidelines jointly with the Joint Marine Claims Committee (JMCC) to help improve collaboration in the handling of shipping casualties. The protocol document seeks to promote more effective communication between the parties involved that will ensure the prompt deployment of emergency responses services to vessels in distress.
