This circular provides information on a review undertaken by the International Group and BIMCO on the Himalaya Clause for use in bills of lading and other contracts and contains a revised Himalaya Clause.
New International Group Chair
The International Group (IG) has unanimously agreed that, at its November 2025 AGM, Rolf Thore Roppestad (CEO of Gard) will be proposed as the new IG Chair. Rolf Thore will succeed Andrew Cutler (CEO of Britannia P&I), at the end of his 3-year term in the role.
