In June the Group's Reinsurance Committee Chair, Mike Hall, hosted another successful event for the Group’s reinsurance partners at London’s Royal Automobile Club.
International Maritime Organization Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez opened the event, highlighting the IMO’s close collaboration with the Group and underscoring the vital role of Group Clubs’ blue cards in facilitating global maritime trade. Click here or below to watch his speech.
Steve Gordon of Clarksons Research provided statistical insight, followed by Gianfranco Lot’s analysis of how today’s geopolitical challenges are reshaping marine insurance. Group Chair Andrew Cutler and CEO Nick Shaw rounded out the presentations with an update on the Group's strategic priorities.
The day concluded with a panel discussion featuring Alan Mackinnon, Andreas Brachel, and Daisy Roche on the Group's outreach initiatives with maritime states. These collaborative training efforts strengthen relationships and readiness for any future incidents at sea.
